Electroporation

Electroporation uses modulated, low intensity currents combined with a continuous base, which creates new extracellular pathways and acts directly on the skin, temporarily increasing tissue permeability. This alteration allows the cell membrane to be more permeable to a wide variety of hydrophilic molecules that would otherwise not be able to enter the cell.

Once formed, these electropores, depending also on the intensity used, remain open from a few seconds to a few minutes.

Modulated currents that permeate the plasma membrane of cells at numerous points, allowing active ingredient molecules to penetrate.

Radiowave®

The treatment makes it possible to heat the subcutaneous tissue for a restructuring and remodelling action, favouring an improvement of the microcirculation with a complete biorevitalising effect.

    Plasmawave is a non-invasive technique that performs a selective action on the tissue, capable of resolving numerous conditions of aesthetic blemishes without necessarily having to resort to invasive methods such as surgery or laser applications.

    Plasmawave uses the ionization of gas in the air to form what is known as Plasma. A small electric arc is created that focuses exclusively on the areas to be treated without creating undesirable effects on the surrounding areas.

    The area to be treated is anaesthetized using a topical product. When the area to be treated and desensitized starts the treatment. During the procedure you may notice the formation of small dark, black or brown crust.

    Immediately after the treatment you will notice a slight swelling that will stabilize within 48/72 hours. The scabs on the skin disappear in a time that can vary from 4 to 10 days. During this period the treated area cannot be touched or scratched, as this could cause hypo or hyperpigmentation.

    The number of sessions varies from patient to patient and individual needs. For eyelid lifting, 3 or 4 sessions may be required, usually every 6 to 8 weeks.

    The effect of the Plasmawave treatment is considered permanent. However, the aging process continues and other treatments will be necessary to ensure that the effect lasts over time.

    It is an alternative to conventional mesotherapy that does not use needles but special modulated current pulses to insert molecules by bypassing the epidermis.

    Electroporation has the same purpose as classic mesotherapy injection and therefore the same treatment indications, such as the restoration of rehydrated and toned skin, as well as treatments for panniculopathy and the reduction of fat deposits.

    No recovery time is required, normal daily activities can be resumed immediately after treatment.

    Usually you can notice significant changes already with a couple of sessions, but 6 is the average number of treatments suggested. Then we recommend treatments to maintain the effect obtained over time.
